Job Description

 

We at Nova, are a very young and dynamic team, the 2nd largest telecom provider in Greece, looking for vibrant, young, and fast thinking “Interim Compliance Officer” ” to lead Nova’s Compliance Program for a 18th – months period.

You have a challenging mission for:

Implementation of requirements and internal initiatives to organize, manage and ensure Compliance’s effective and efficient operation in accordance with local law, company’s Code of Conduct, respective policies and ethical standards.

What will you do:

· Development, Monitoring & Remediation of a clearly defined and effective Compliance Program for Nova and connected entities

· Design, implement and enforce customized compliance policies, interacting with multiple Nova’s business units

· Take action in dealing with Gifts, Sponsorships and Donation, review of Compliance contract terms, approval during 3rd parties screening process

· Effective management of noncompliance situations, investigation of cases reported to company’s Whistleblowing Channel, proposal of remediation plans.

· Coordinate / Deliver training on new employees or existing employees regarding Code of Conduct and policies

· Establish/ maintenance of positive relationships with all stakeholders, including management team, fostering open communication channels and ethical culture

· Reporting on regulatory compliance, potential risks, and recommended actions to upper management at local and group level

· Targeted compliance risk assessment and audits on potential weaknesses of the Compliance environment

It would be great if you have:

· Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Compliance, Risk, Business Administration/ Law/ Audit/ Political Science and Public Administration or related field of study

· Compliance Certification (ICA diploma) would be a plus

· 4-6 years’ work experience in a similar position

· Experience in a telecom or global company will be consider an asset

· Excellent command of English

· Computer literacy and good knowledge of MS office

· Excellent organizational, leadership, collaboration, communication skills

· Strong ethical values
