Internal Auditor – Imithea Group

Imithea Group manages one of the largest Secondary healthcare networks in Greece. The Group provides its services through an extensive network, consisting of general clinics as well as rehabilitation center and assisted reproduction unit in major Greek cities. We are currently seeking to employ an experienced Internal Auditor to join our team.

                                                                                                                                   INTERNAL AUDITOR

Summary:

The Internal Auditor will have the opportunity to actively participate in the whole spectrum of the group internal audit activities, undertake relevant audits, write audit reports, and follow-up on the implementation of corrective actions that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Group’s operations.

The role is based in Thessaloniki – Greece and requires regular domestic travel.

Qualifications:

• University degree in business, finance, accounting, or relevant field

• CIA professional certification would be considered a plus

• At least 3 years of internal audit experience

• Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise, and professional manner (in both English & Greek)

• IFRS and SAP knowledge will be considered an asset

• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

• Analytical thinking, combined with thorough understanding of accounting and business issues

• Excellent communication skills and persuasiveness whilst maintaining a professional approach

• Excellent organizational & project management skills

• Collaborative, team player, must be able to build relationships across the organization 

• Results oriented and able to meet time deadlines and work under pressure

• Continuous focus on quality

• Professional and personal ethics, courtesy, integrity, and confidentiality are considered as prerequisites
