IT Audit Manager – Senior IT Auditor for major financial group.

Position Overview

As a major financial services provider, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT audit Manager/senior IT Auditor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess at least 7 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to internal IT audit, preferably within the financial sector. This role requires a strong understanding of IT systems, IT risk management, data governance and cybersecurity. The position offers exposure to a very big IT landscape, including cutting-edge technologies and innovative products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive internal audits of IT systems, networks, cloud implementations, infrastructure, cybersecurity and related services and digital offerings.

• Assess and consult on the effectiveness of IT controls and identify areas for improvement.

• Develop audit programs, perform and supervise fieldwork, and prepare audit reports in accordance with internal audit methodology and IIA standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional audit teams to raise audit findings and follow-up on corrective actions.

• Work independently or manage audit teams as needed.

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, regulations and best practices in IT auditing, cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence and IT risk management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field. Related master’s degree will be considered an asset.

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in IT auditing, with a focus on internal audit within the financial industry.

• Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor).

• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., DORA, PCI-DSS) and industry standards (e.g., COSO, COBIT, ISO)..

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
