Η τεχνητή νοημοσύνη λαμβάνει αποφάσεις που επηρεάζουν καθημερινά πολίτες — σε παροχές κοινωνικής πρόνοιας, υγεία, εκπαίδευση, εργασία. Όμως, μέχρι πολύ πρόσφατα, κανείς δεν τα ελέγχει με τον ίδιο τρόπο που ελέγχουμε κάθε άλλη δημόσια διαδικασία.

Η code4thought, εταιρεία Trustworthy AI με έδρα την Αθήνα και κέντρο Ε&Α στην Πάτρα, παρουσίασε στο πλαίσιο του AI Assurance Webinar (Ιούνιος 2026) — σε συνεργασία με το IIA Greece (Institute of Internal Auditors) — δύο ολοκληρωμένες παρουσιάσεις για τον αυτοματοποιημένο έλεγχο συστημάτων ΤΝ.

Ο Δρ. Πέτρος Σταυρουλάκης, Trustworthy AI Consultant και Επισκέπτης Καθηγητής Πληροφορικής στη Στρατιωτική Ακαδημία Ευελπίδων, παρουσίασε το θεωρητικό και ρυθμιστικό πλαίσιο: τι είναι πραγματικά η ΤΝ, πώς λειτουργεί η μηχανική μάθηση, και τι απαιτούν ο EU AI Act (Κανονισμός 2024/1689), το ISO/IEC 42001:2023 και ο Ελληνικός Νόμος 4961/2022 από οργανισμούς που αναπτύσσουν ή χρησιμοποιούν συστήματα ΤΝ.

Ο Romanos Kapsalis, AI Engineer της code4thought, παρουσίασε την πρακτική διάσταση: πώς ένας εσωτερικός ελεγκτής — χωρίς τεχνικές γνώσεις — μπορεί να ελέγξει ένα σύστημα ΤΝ που δεν έχτισε ο ίδιος, χρησιμοποιώντας την πλατφόρμα iQ4AI. Τρία ερωτήματα αποτελούν τον πυρήνα κάθε AI audit: Λειτουργεί σωστά; Μεταχειρίζεται δίκαια όλους; Μπορεί να εξηγηθεί;

Summary:

Position Overview

As a major financial services provider, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT audit Manager/senior IT Auditor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess at least 7 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to internal IT audit, preferably within the financial sector. This role requires a strong understanding of IT systems, IT risk management, data governance and cybersecurity. The position offers exposure to a very big IT landscape, including cutting-edge technologies and innovative products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive internal audits of IT systems, networks, cloud implementations, infrastructure, cybersecurity and related services and digital offerings.

• Assess and consult on the effectiveness of IT controls and identify areas for improvement.

• Develop audit programs, perform and supervise fieldwork, and prepare audit reports in accordance with internal audit methodology and IIA standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional audit teams to raise audit findings and follow-up on corrective actions.

• Work independently or manage audit teams as needed.

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, regulations and best practices in IT auditing, cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence and IT risk management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field. Related master’s degree will be considered an asset.

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in IT auditing, with a focus on internal audit within the financial industry.

• Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor).

• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., DORA, PCI-DSS) and industry standards (e.g., COSO, COBIT, ISO)..

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
